Mark was raised in the Northern California city of Walnut Creek. He graduated from Brigham Young University in English and then studied photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After becoming the Arts Editor at Orange Coast Magazine, he moved to New York for a summer internship with famed Rolling Stone photographer Mark Seliger.
After four years in Manhattan, he returned to his native California and now lives in Orange County. His celebrity portrait work and unique landscape imagery have appeared in magazines, catalogs, and advertising campaigns worldwide. His clients include Sony, AOL, Puma, Def Jam Recordings, dts sound technology, Neff, and Rogers & Cowan.
